Tantra
I was an ardent spiritual seeker while in my 30s, and Tantra expanded my perceptions of life and my Self more than any other experience.
You may have heard of Tantra as the “sexual yoga,” but this is far from the true essence of this ancient spiritual path.
Tantra has a long history that begins in India over 1,500 years ago. This is not a path of rote prayer or static meditations, but is a rich practice that engages the senses, the body, breath, energy, mind and spirit.
Tantra inspires a lifestyle that integrates a spiritual practice with our daily experiences.
When I attended my first Ipsalu Tantra Kriya Yoga class back in the ‘90s, taught by Bodhi Avinasha, my life shifted.
I was introduced to the concept of the “Goddess,” the Divine Feminine aspect of the Universe, and the Goddess/divine within me. This concept alone shifted my self perceptions and increased my self-esteem.
And the Tantra Kriya Yoga practices balanced me energetically and awakened me spiritually. I became more joyful and loving.
Later, my studies of Shakta Tantra with Laura Amazzone, strengthened my understanding and connection with the Divine Feminine and continued to solidify my own spiritual expansion.
Through Tantra I’ve tapped into my own divinity while appreciating my life in the sensorial world. I feel joyful most of the time and can maintain a mindset of optimism.
I want to share Tantra with you.
I’d like to share Tantra with you.
As a certified and licensed Ipsalu Tantra Kriya Yoga teacher and mentor, I share Tantra as a means of experiencing the three-dimensional world as a spiritual being.
I offer Tantra classes and private in-person sessions for individuals and couples. My sessions include practices from both Ipsalu Tantra Kriya Yoga and Shakta Tantra traditions.
Each session includes mantra, yantra, movement, visualization, breathwork and/or other sacred practices to create full-presence in the physical and energetic bodies, while expanding awareness of one’s own divinity.
By the end of the session, we feel connected with ourselves (and others), open-hearted, peaceful, and joyful. Some may call it “blissful.”
