Goddesses Power.
One of the most fascinating aspects of ancient women’s history is the goddesses.
Every culture around the globe worshipped many goddesses and gods, and most often the Supreme Universal force was considered feminine.
Thousands of glorious goddesses were worshipped for eons and by every culture. Each deity possessed Her own superpowers that represented a natural phenomenon and /or human trait. The Goddesses had the power to control nature, such as weather and crops, and other life events, such as birth and death. Goddesses also possessed the qualities of mortal women, such as love, intelligence, sexuality, and wrath.
The worshippers (both women and men) celebrated their goddesses for blessings, healings, safety, victory, wealth, and comfort. Societies were peaceful. Women were equal with men.
But an uprise of patriarchal ideologies destroyed the goddess cultures and the women (and men) who worshipped them. Views of women changed; now they were viewed as weaker than man, and their innate nature as sinful. They were blamed for “the downfall of humanity.”
The grief and loss of their beloved goddesses, and the forced disconnection from their feminine nature, continues to live within women today. This results in feelings of powerlessness, shame, fear, and self-loathing.
A reconnection with the Divine Feminine can help banish those disempowering feelings.
Through one-on-one sessions and Goddess Groups, I help women reconnect with the Divine Feminine - including the divine / goddess within themselves, and Goddess as a Higher Power.
We study goddesses through time and of every culture.
We also engage in Goddess Spirituality practices based on ancient and present-day traditions.
By exploring and connecting with Goddess and goddess energy, we recognize the divine within ourselves. This helps us to feel uplifted, empowered and self-loving.
